The Best Connection Newcastle are currently recruiting **Vehicle Valeters** for a on going position at a well-established company based in Dunston. They are a nationally recognised vehicle rental company.

The role:

- Valeter will be expected to clean a variety of vehicles from cars, vans, tippers, lutons, 3.5 tons to 7.5 tons.
- Vehicles are returned in various conditions of cleanliness (i.e. can be extremely dirty as commercial vehicle used by construction company) so need to be flexible to clean vehicle regardless of state.
- Required to follow companies cleaning pledge procedure and rules.
- On the job training will be available at all times.
- Full UK driving licence essential - in order to move certain vehicles around yard.
- Positive attitude /enthusiastic towards work.
- Reliably and trustworthy.
- Good time keeper and organised.
- Can work as an individual and as part of a team.
- Prepared to work overtime if asked (overtime is offered everyday due to the nature of the business)

Hours of Work:

- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am - 16:30pm

Rate of Pay:

- £9.50 per hour for first 8 hours worked Monday to Friday
- £14.25 overtime after 8 hours have been worked

- Hourly rate as above, or the appropriate National Minimum Wage (age dependent)
