**The Role**

As a **Support Worker **at our 9 Bedded home in Walsall Wood you will be joining an established team providing high levels of care to young people with severe and complex care needs, Acquired Brain Injury, complex learning disabilities and associated behavioural challenges.

Managing the health needs of the Children forms a significant part of the service that we provide and are firmly committed to meeting the very unique and individual health care needs of our children. Our home provides a safe and nurturing environment where preconceptions are challenged and young people are encouraged to be the best that they can be and to live life to its fullest.

**Qualifications / Experience**

You will ideally be able to demonstrate that you have or are working towards:
**Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or** **Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People’s Workforce (Social Care Pathway) **and at least 2 years’ experience of working with children and young people with moderate to severe learning disabilities and/or physical disabilities, Autism, ADHD, sensory impairment, and associated behavioural challenges and/or complex care needs.

Based in Walsall Wood, this position is commutable from Walsall, Bloxwich, Brownhills, Cannock, Burntwood, Lichfield, Aldridge, Perry Barr, Sutton Coldfield and surrounding areas.
