Are you an experienced Social Worker ready for a change? We have a fantastic opportunity within our high functioning Independent Reviewing Officer Team.

Our conference and reviewing service plays a key role in quality assuring plans and interventions for children. They ensure that planning for Looked After Children fully meets their needs, and child protection arrangements effectively safeguard and promote the welfare of children being supported by Child Protection Plans.

Conference and Reviewing Officers ensure that in addition to meeting the needs of vulnerable children and families there is high quality, effective and timely multi agency support, providing a clear focus on actions to keep children safe.

In this role you will quality assure plans and ensure they adhere to the Guidance and Practice Standards. You will play a crucial role in securing the best possible outcomes for Children and Families. You may also be required to chair Child Protection Conferences.

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Social Worker who has the knowledge and confidence to provide support to, and at times challenge practitioners and managers to achieve the best possible outcomes. You will have the ability to engage with and understand children and young people. Experience in working in partnership and achieving positive change for Children and Families engaged with Child Protection and Looked After Children Services is essential. You will be required to communicate effectively with professionals and possess the skills to chair conferences and reviews to ensure collaborative efforts for the safety and improvement of children's lives.
