As part of the Transport UK Group, West Midlands Trains delivers around 1,300 train journeys a day, for more than 60 million passengers a year, across our two brands - West Midlands Railway and London Northwestern Railway.

We are committed to delivering a safe and reliable train service, by investing in our fleet of trains, stations and employees. As part of this investment, we are looking to recruit a Train Presentation Supervisor, on a full-time, permanent basis at our Shrewsbury Depot.

**What does the role involve?**
- Leading and managing a cleaning team at the station and on the train - ensuring the team work quickly and to standard
- Ensuring biohazards and dealt with swiftly and correctly
- Prioritising the team workload - responding quickly to changing demands
- Inspecting and auditing work, to ensure standards are maintained
- Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained and the team are working within the set guidelines
- Supporting the Area Manager by attending meetings, where required
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, MFA interviews
- Creating staff rosters and reviewing/approving employee timesheets, for payroll purposes
- Stock control - ensuring adequate cleaning stock is held onsite

**What skills and experience do I need to do the job?**
- Good attention to detail and the ability to work at high standards
- Ideally some previous supervisory experience, however the right attitude is more important
- High standards of personal presentation and professionalism
- Being able to set a standard for your team and be a role model
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Being a clam and efficient decision maker
- Flexibility - you could be working early in a morning or late into an evening - including weekends
- Organised and able to plan resources effectively
