Location: Aylsham, Norfolk
Requirements: Have a full UK drivers licence
Join Dimensions as a Support Worker enabling the four ladies, with Learning Disabilities, who live at our Supported Living Home to enjoy an independent life. Dimensions Support Workers do not need prior experience in Health Care Assistant or Social Care roles as full training is given.
What will the role involve?
You will be supporting 3 ladies in their 60's who are very sociable and love going out and about and doing variety of things such as going shopping and days out. When at home, they like to keep busy by watching movies, listening to music and get involve in many other house activities.
Your duties will involve:
- Helping people learn the skills they need to live the life they choose
- Supporting with various activities like horse riding
- trip to cafes, shops, restaurants and day centers, to love outdoor activities would be a massive advantage
- Aspect of medication administration
- Use of hoist and wheelchair.
