Our client is currently seeking a dedicated and driven assistant Estimator to join their team and be part of their growing business. You will be an essential part of our team and will play a critical role in reviewing and comprehending project details from Invitation to Tender (ITT) documents. You will assist in preparing the Bill of Quantities and verifying take-off exercises, while creating material take-off and quantity lists for procurement requests.

Working withing our clients well-established team of Estimators based in the UK, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow your skills as you support our activities in the UK and Europe. You will also be an integral part of the growing European operation, with endless possibilities for professional development and advancement.

**Location**:On site / Aylesford (Kent)

**Package**:Negotiable

**Responsibilities**:

- Review and comprehend project details from Invitation to Tender (ITT) documents
- Assist in preparing Bill of Quantities and verifying take-off exercises
- Create material take-off and quantity lists for procurement requests
- Gather and organize subcontract packages for tender submission
- Generate contract overviews and settlement documents for tender review meetings
- Timely submission of Tender Queries within the ITT document guidelines

**Requirements**:

- Some relevant construction industry experience and a strong interest in estimating
- A solid foundation in basic mathematics
- Proficient computer skills
- Prior experience in a commercial or operational role in construction
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong time management and task prioritization skills
- National Diploma level education, preferably in a construction-related field
