Job Title: Trainee Technical Estimator

**Responsibilities**:

- Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for labour, materials, and equipment
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to develop accurate project budgets
- Identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings
- Prepare bid proposals and submit them to clients in a timely manner
- Negotiate pricing and contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
- Assist in the preparation of change orders and claims as needed
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and construction methods

Qualifications:

- Good secondary education - maths and English
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in estimating costs
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
