**Job Purpose**: Support in the growth and expansion of both clinical & diagnostic services in the Referral Management Centre in Hull. Supervisor and line management responsibility for Patient Care Advisors within the RMC, leading on training, performance monitoring and allocation of tasks. To provide an efficient and effective bookings administrative service working within business targets, established policies and processes. To ensure an exemplary level of customer service is upheld to patients, referrers and clinical team.

The post holder must be able to show initiative and have the ability to multitask in order to carry out a wide range of specialist duties. There maybe travel required as part of this role which will be fully supported by Healthshare. Key Working Relationships: RMC Managers Senior RMC Operations Manager Patients, relatives/carers RMC staff including other staffing centres Operational Managers Clinical Staff GPs and surgery staff Informatics, Finance, HR & Services Development Managers Principal Duties and Responsibilities: To work collaboratively and provide support with key stakeholders such as Patients, relatives/carers, Operational Managers and Company Directors, Clinical staff, GPs, surgery staff Informatics, Finance, HR, and Service Development. Supervisor responsibilities across the RMC, supporting other modalities during periods of absence.

Line Management responsibility for staff within a designated modality. To be first point of contact for complaints. To provide an efficient and effective bookings service for public and independent health care services, prioritising workload in accordance with business needs. To ensure all work is undertaken to the highest standard and in accordance with the Key Performance Indicators as specified within the respective underpinning contract.

This will include the management of all administration tasks and reports. To be fully competent in the use of all patient/clinical/diagnostic systems used thought the Referral Management Centres. To support the RMC Management team in co-ordination of the RMC department objectives To feedback to the Patient Care Advisors any issues and concerns in an effective and constructive way as directed by the RMC Management team To be a key holder and responsible for opening and locking up building and ensure cover when needed To ensure clinic utilisation is fulfilled daily Delegation and overseeing of tasks completed by the Patient Care Advisors To demonstrate exemplary levels of customer care and support other team members as required ensuring consistent high quality communications. Organisation: To decide priorities for own modality and the wider service within the RMC, balancing patient related and professional demands, and ensure that these remain in accordance with KPIs and business objectives.

To create, manage and maintain daily task lists for yourself and Patient Care Advisors within your modality to maintain the high level of service delivery. Read just as priorities change. To be aware of Health and Safety aspects of your work area, including your prompt recording and reporting of incidents and investigations, and ensuring equipment use is safe. To comply with the Healthshare organisational and departmental policies and to be involved in their reviewing and updating as appropriate.

To undertake any other duties that might be considered appropriate by the team. Confidentiality and Data Protection All information concerning patients/clients and staff must be treated as strictly confidential at all times. We expect patients to be treated with high standards of dignity and empathy. All team members will be expected to comply with the national and local information governance and security policies.
