Barking & Dagenham Council - Hybrid working (IG11 7LU)

We are looking for a **Council Tax Officer **you will be based**:Mostly remote (some requirement to attend the office)**
- Looking for an Experienced Council Tax officer (with a minimum of 3 years current experience in the field)
- Must be able to do all aspects of Council Tax, which includes billing and recovery processes and answering complaints
- Currently using Academy and Enterprise systems
- Good written and communication skills
- Able to work under pressure and work to deadlines
- Attention to quality in their work is an essential requirement
- May be required to occasionally take back-office calls, when call volumes high in the call centre

**Experience required**
- Experience of working within Council Tax Collections
- Experience of working within a local authority is required
- Experience of working on CIVICA or Academy Systems

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- BARKING: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- CIVICA/Academy: 1 year (preferred)
- Council Tax Collections: 1 year (preferred)
