Responsibilities:
- Inspect and grade food products according to established quality standards
- Examine food items for freshness, appearance, and overall quality
- Assess food products for proper labeling and packaging
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines
- Maintain accurate records of grading results
- Communicate grading results to relevant parties
- Collaborate with other team members to maintain a clean and organized work area
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in food preparation, culinary, kitchen, or restaurant settings preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Familiarity with food production processes and quality control procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately assess product quality
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate grading results
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
**Salary**: From £11.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
