**Business Risk Analyst**

Are you an experienced Business Risk Analyst?

Do you have solid experience working within Asset Management/ Investment Management?

We are currently recruiting a Business Risk Analyst to join the Business Risk team in our London office.

This role’s primary focus will be to assist Ruffer in the identification, assessment, mitigation and monitoring of operational (business) risk. The role will also support Ruffer’s operational resilience programme, helping the business remain functional ina crisis.

**Key tasks include**:
**Business Risk responsibilities**:

- Support business teams to consistently identify, assess, mitigate and monitor business risk across the firm using appropriate techniques(e.g. risk registers, controls analysis, incident management, emerging risks analysis, key risk indicators, risk appetite,etc)
- Provide advice and guidance on risk management to foster high achieving, well controlled business functions
- Assist in developing and promoting operational elements of the Risk Management Framework including risk appetites, emerging risks and incident capture and analysis
- Support and challenge error capture and analysis
- Deliver regular operational risk information to various stakeholders and governance Committees
- Contribute to the ICARA process
- Support Ruffer’s vendor management by working closely with the vendor owners to identify risks, perform due diligence, capture relevant documentation and ensure the tool supporting Ruffer’s vendor management is operating effectively.

**Operational Resilience responsibilities**
- Support the implementation and journey to maturity of the Operational Resilience framework
- Deliver regular resilience metrics to help measure and improve our resilience against important business services
- Support the delivery of resilience testing, ongoing monitoring, assessment and remediation of vulnerabilities as part of our resilience framework.

**Skills, knowledge, experience and qualifications**

The individual is expected to demonstrate the following, working with our clients and colleagues:

- 3 years or more work experience
- Excellent communication skills; a good standard of oral and written communication
- Absolute focus on client service, including awareness of differences in working practices
- Intermediate level of IT literacy (MS Office, especially Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong attention to detail
- Exercise judgement and clarity of thought
