Ict Solutions Analyst

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a **ICT Solutions Analyst** to work on a range of change related activities in design and delivery of IT solutions that enable our 5-year business strategy, Target Operating Model (TOM) and ICT strategy.

Freebridge Community Housing is the largest provider of housing in West Norfolk, set up in 2006 to receive the transfer of homes from the Borough Council of King's Lynn and West Norfolk.

Today, we own and manage around 6,800 homes across West Norfolk, making a difference to thousands of customers within communities across an area of almost 550 square miles.

We have an annual turnover of £30m and employ well over 200 people, including our own Property Services team.

Over the last 14 years, there have been numerous achievements, not least delivering our tenants' promises and bringing homes to the Decent Homes Standard, affording our customers a much better quality of living.

Please note this is initially a 3 year FTC.

**Requirements**:

- Create and maintain real-time knowledge and artifacts of the current IT architecture, integration maps and detailed documentation
- Keep abreast of the technological environment we work in to help forward plan and futureproof our ICT.
- Support current state analysis activities to understand existing IT capabilities.
- Feed into business design as a technical IT SME.
- Interpret high level business design into feasible options and technical solution design, including hardware, software, interfaces, integrations, data and security.
- Contribute to business cases (outline and detailed) where technology forms part of solutions.
- Work with a range of stakeholders including business architects, internal IT specialists, business users and 3rd party software providers to gather functional and non-functional requirements to support business design and strategy.
- Lead the technical aspect of market research of IT systems that form part of a solution design.
- Actively contribute to development of realistic delivery plans and approaches.
- Respond to project related IT problems and issues, managing resolutions and corrective actions promptly.
- Engage with stakeholders to measure the effectiveness of IT design solutions and systems.
- Play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing customer and stakeholder relationships to maintain open communication and feedback for continued improvement.

**KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE**
- Degree in a technology or business solutions related discipline OR 5 years' experience in a similar ICT environment
- Experience of building strong relationships with third party suppliers and / or service providers.
- Experience of working on data migration projects.
- Experience of documenting ICT architecture in a structured and detailed manner.
- Leading the technical aspects of market testing and research to support formal procurement exercises.
- Experience working with stakeholders to define functional and non-functional requirements.
- Experience creating and documenting system integration and interface requirements.
- Experience of gathering and understand business requirements and turning them into viable system and solution designs.
