**Role Overview**:
Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for design coordination? We are seeking a skilled Design Coordinator to join our clients dynamic team. As a Design Coordinator your role will involve leading a remote design team, streamlining processes, and driving innovation to enhance design efficiency. As the Design Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring timely and accurate design deliverables, supporting our clients business growth, and exceeding customer expectations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and lead a team of 6 remote/offshore designers, fostering collaboration and efficient design processes.
- Collaborate closely with the Project Director to develop streamlined procedures and innovative systems, facilitating business scalability and improved design lead times.
- Attend customer meetings related to design, providing technical expertise and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Undertake initial design and setting out on customer drawings, ensuring precision and adherence to project requirements.
- Assign projects to our outsourced design team, closely monitor performance, and ensure on-time delivery.
- Take an active role in design meetings, providing valuable insights and facilitating effective communication.
- Create, review, and communicate drawings to customers for approval, maintaining a high level of accuracy and clarity.
- Conduct thorough checks of designers' work prior to submission, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with customers and designers to address and implement drawing comments promptly and effectively.
- Drive innovation and process development, challenging and improving existing design methodologies.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Proficiency in CAD drawing with experience in 3D design (desirable).
- Strong management capabilities with potential for leadership.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to our clients core values:

- Familiarity with stair design and related regulations (training provided if necessary).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical correspondence with customers and remote design teams.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
