Diagnostic Programme Workforce Lead

We are recruiting for a Diagnostic Programme Workforce Lead who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
This role will bring together clinicians, service leads, commissioners and the public with a key aim of ensuring a commonality of approach from all stakeholder organisations in delivering the objectives of the work programme. The post holder will take responsibility for leading collaboration across all organisations and the development of relationships that will support diagnostics transformation across HWE ICS.
While the post-holder will initially work on the programme described above, they may be required to be flexible and provide support or leadership to other work programmes as required by the Diagnostics Programme Team.
The post holder will be required to adhere to multiple deadlines with priorities that could change on a regular basis and be able to use their initiative to identify their own priorities and to communicate these across organisational boundaries in a structured way.
The post holder will ensure that they work within the agreed operational and governance processes within the provider organisations, HWE ICS Diagnostics Group and People Board, with a focus on seeking opportunities for continual improvement.

The post holder will work closely with the Diagnostics Programme Team, E2 Imaging Network and ICS Workforce Team and senior clinical leaders across the system to lead the development and implementation of the HWE ICS diagnostics workforce programme, which will include a focus around retention of staff and a ‘grow your own workforce’ pilot.
The post holder will work closely with the AHP Faculty, AHP Workforce Leads and Chief AHPs on aligned priorities
The post holder will lead and chair the bimonthly diagnostics and cancer workforce subgroup or equivalent.
The post holder will understand, determine and align workforce plans and ensure they align and incorporate the diagnostics clinical thinking and the diagnostic Networks plans for forward planning.
The post holder will work with the diagnostic service lead to drive forward the identified diagnostic workforce projects and implement the required service changes.
