- Setting up new customer / supplier accounts in Xero
- Maintaining and processing purchase / sales ledger records in Xero
- Managing and maintaining debt collection - credit control
- Processing daily bank reconciliations
- Assisting in producing year end accounts
- Managing credit card statements and reconcile receipts.
- Preparing quarterly VAT returns in Xero
- Performing various administration duties including:

- Recording attendance and holidays
- Recording expenses and commissions
- Keeping our internal systems up to date from an administrative perspective

**Essential Skills**:

- Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Good customer service skills.
- Accounting and administration experience.
- Hard working and dedicated to getting the job done properly
- Able to take instructions and work effectively to deadlines
- Affective time management.
- Ability to work independently and use own initiative as well as working well within a team environment
- Responsible, trustworthy, and approachable

**Desirable knowledge, although not essential**:

- Xero
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Outlook

**What we offer you**:

- Number of hours and salary (pro-rata) depending on experience
- 28 days paid annual leave per year on top of the 8 statutory bank holidays (pro rata)
