Hours : 39.5 Hours per week
Monday to Thursday 8.30am-5.00pm, Friday 8.30am
- 4.30pm.

Sheridan Fabrications is part of Howden Joinery PLC and is the UK’s largest manufacturer of solid and natural work surfaces. Based in Normanton, West Yorkshire.
Reporting to the Finance Manager we are currently recruiting a Sales Ledger Clerk responsible for administering sales invoicing ensuring monies due to the business are received on time and in accordance with terms and conditions agreed.
**Key Duties include**:
- To ensure sales invoices are raised each day as jobs are shipped to avoid delays in receiving funds due from customers.
- Ensure invoices are accurate against sales orders and customer order documents.
- Carrying out daily checks to ensure all orders have been picked up and invoiced in the correct accounting periods.
- Liaising with the sales & customer service team to resolve queries.
- Issuing approved sales credit notes where necessary.
- Allocate cash against customer debt, alongside other daily banking duties.
- Reconcile month-end sales ledger accounts.
- Assist with the debt management process by liaising with customers.

**The Person - Key Requirements**
- High attention to detail and levels of accuracy
- Diligent & organised with ability to work under own initiative
- Ability to prioritise problems and work to deadlines and targets
- Excellent communication skills on all levels both internally and externally
- Confident, positive and friendly telephone manner
- Excel - experienced is desirable
- Experience working on an ERP system is desirable
- QBE/ Proven experience in a busy accounts department.
Full training will be provided in our Company processes, systems and procedures.
Previous experience of worktop manufacture and/or working within a fast paced and demanding manufacturing environment would be a distinct advantage but is not essential as all training will be provided.
