Cqc Quality and Pastoral Lead

In partnership with a leading health and social care provider, who specialises in person centred care and support for adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs, across multiple locations in the UK, I am recruiting an experienced **QUALITY AND PASTORAL LEAD** for their supported living services in Stafford.
You will be an ambassador for quality practice and initiatives and share a passion for person centred care and support.
You will be required to travel across services in the Stafford region, working closely with all categories of staff, CQC and external partners.
**Your duties will be varied and will include**:
" Outcomes / data capture; monitoring and compliance, inspections, setting requirements and putting in place robust action plans to rectify issues.
" Create a setting where the people we support are involved in their own care plans and included in decisions.
" Create best practice documents and reporting.
" Develop quality initiatives.
" Identify areas for quality improvement.
" Keep up to date knowledge on policy and guidance to national standards.
" Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
" Proactively work with local community and neighbourhoods to increase understanding and inclusion.
" Support Managers through team work and communication.
**To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must**:
" Have a minimum of 2 years experience of Quality management and service improvement activities or similar from within the health and social care industry, public, private or independent sectors.
" Have a good level of education with a minimum of GCSE English and Maths grade C/4 or above.
" Demonstrate excellent CQC and compliance knowledge.
" Have a thorough understanding of the legislative and regulatory framework for CQC.
" Committed to promoting the rights of people with learning disabilities or mental health problems.
" Be well organised with clear report writing and analytical skills.
" Have strong communication skills both written and verbal.
" Hold a full driving licence and own transport is essential.
