**About us**

This role offers the opportunity to combine office working from our Warwick headquarters with home working in line with our new hybrid working policy.

As a System Specialist, you will be working on the front line of Electricity Transmission Control, responsible for the reliable operation and continuous improvement of the key IT systems and processes related to the Electricity Transmission Network Control Centre (TNCC) and the wider department.

You will act on behalf of the business, managing system changes, fault finding/rectification and testing while working closely with IT and 3rd parties.

You will also take the lead in the research, development and implementation of systems linked to the IT and digital roadmap, writing sanction papers and business cases and driving collaboration and communication between all involved parties.

**About You**
- Experience of a wide range of IT systems and the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to deliver complex technical solutions within an operational environment.
- Excellent data analysis skills, with experience of using data to identify problems and drive business improvements.
- Systems testing experience.
- Ability to manage a variety of stakeholders at different levels and manage conflicting priorities.

**What You'll Get**
- A competitive salary of £43,000 - £55,000 dependant on capability
- Annual Performance Based Bonus of up to 6% of your base salary
