Join West Elloe Pharmacy, one of the largest pharmacies in the country, with a dedicated and experienced team serving our local patients and customers. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our exceptional team as a pre-registration pharmacist for the 2024-2025 intake.

In this role, you'll work under the guidance of an experienced tutor who will support you throughout your training and help you prepare for your registration assessment.

As a pre-registration pharmacist, you will assist in the operations and dispensing of prescriptions, supply pharmaceutical products including controlled drugs and appliances, ensuring safety and clinical appropriateness.

You will also respond to symptoms, recommend appropriate OTC products, and provide patient counselling and advice under supervision.

You will develop competence through training and regular appraisals, ensuring customers and patients receive excellent professional and caring service. Additionally, you will participate in audits as instructed by your tutor to meet GPhC training program requirements and develop knowledge and skills across all competency areas aligned with GPhC performance standards.

Good management practices will be fostered through compliance with company systems and procedures, effective resource use, and following your tutor's instructions and guidance.

Effective communication and collaboration with other healthcare professionals and building relationships with external organizations, such as GP surgeries and area teams, are also key aspects of the role.

To apply, you must have an MPharm or equivalent from a recognized UK university and possess strong management, leadership, and communication skills to prepare for your future role as a qualified pharmacist.
