Sports Massage Therapist

We are opening a store in Birmingham at the end of this week, and we are looking for happy, friendly and competent staff. At this stage we are only hiring qualified Sports Therapists and Physiotherapists.

Our job will be to provide **clothed and seated massage services **services to the passing public, offering seated massage to the upper back, shoulders, neck. We are also offering sports therapy and table based massage.

We wish to create a brand and reputation where we offer the highest quality massage treatment. Therefore we wish to hire dynamic, friendly and well spoken individuals to push the brand.

Sufficient rest breaks will be provided. Hours are flexible - you can nominate to work 4 to 10 hour shifts. Once more operational, hours and days can be tailored to your needs depending on your personal situation. However consideration must always be made towards business requirements

This mode of business is not established in the UK, and one of the key roles will be enticing potential clients into the store, and to upsell services and treatments.

5 min walk from Grand Central and Snow Hill train stations and 1 minute walk from Tram stop.

**Minimum requirements**:
We will only accept qualifications where you have studied massage for a minimum of 1 year (i.e. Sports massage, remedial massage, myotherapy, physiotherapy, deep tissue massage). We will also take in current students who are studying any of these roles providing you have done some minimum hands on schooling.

You must be able to work with others, not be selfish and respect your team mates.

The expectation be that you will, in addition to your role of masseur, be required to process your clients payment and promote the interests of the business - which may include times where you will be out talking to potential passing customers.

Preference will be given to those that can avail themselves to the majority of the week

Friendly and courteous behaviour is a must.

**Salary Breakdown**:
£11 per hour paid regardless of how much you are working. This is your base, if you are kept busy, you will receive a weekly salary bonus (see below)

**Salary Bonus Scheme**:
On top of the wage you will be paid, we are paying a weekly bonus - which is calculated as follows.
- Your average working minutes will be calculated and averaged over the course of the week, and anyone who _**averages more than 30 working minutes per hour of paid employment **_will be paid a 10% bonus for every minute you work over 30 minutes._

i.e. if you average 36 mins per hour for the week, you will get a bonus of £3.60 per hour on top of your whole standard wage, so if you work a 30 hour week, your pay will go from £300 to £408.

**Succession Training**

We are hoping to expand quickly into other cities and those that wish to take this job in a more serious manner will be offered roles within management and leadership.
