Overview:
**Duties**:

- Develop and implement comprehensive planning strategies and policies
- Conduct research and analyze data to support planning initiatives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather input and ensure project alignment with community needs
- Utilize CAD software to create detailed plans and designs
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate planning recommendations
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in urban planning
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior planners

**Experience**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Planning or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in urban planning or a related role
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit), Adobe Creative Suite, Rhinoceros 3D, ArcGIS, Sketchup
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and stakeholder engagement
- Strong data analysis skills to inform planning decisions
- Knowledge of zoning regulations, land use policies, and environmental considerations

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 5 months

**Salary**: £35.62 per hour
