About the Role:

- To provide support to staff at all levels, working under direct supervision and learning on the job, in aspects of payroll, bookkeeping, VAT, company accounts and personal tax returns.

**Responsibilities**:

- Payroll - learning all aspects of a payroll bureau function. Assisting with preparation of payslips and advising PAYE liabilities. Qualification of the CIPP examination through distance learning Payroll Apprenticeship and on the job training.
- Practice Management Support - all aspects of practice administration, filing of physical and electronic documents, scanning, assisting with billing and supporting the Practice Manager with fulfilment of their duties. Social media contribution.
- Trainee Accountant - Preparation of Financial Statements from incomplete records, bookkeeping and VAT Return preparation using a variety of software (Quickbooks, Sage, Xero etc)
- Developmental - Lead into ACCA (or ATT) qualification and beyond, all aspects of future study can be accommodated within reason.
- Relevant qualification related to Accounting/Finance/Payroll
- This is a challenging role with full client exposure. Applicants must have great communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to learn must be demonstrated.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: £6.40 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
