Shift patterns: Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm (To be discussed at interview)

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking an experienced Transport Planner to play a vital role ensuring continuous improvement of planning processes within the transport department.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will
- Responsible for the effective management and development of a team of Planners.
- To ensure strong and effective relationships are mainted with both customer and account team.
- Partner with Administration Manager, to drive forward operational change through the creation and review of SOPs.
- Bring together the Inbound operation managed by control tower and transport depots, create synergies and cost savings.

- Able to communicate at all levels, internally and externally
