Summary

The Headteacher and Governors of St Paul's C E Primary School are looking to appoint a School Bursar to facilitate our busy school office. The office is very busy, often challenging and a really dynamic part of our school community. The successful applicant will have excellent personal and professional qualities, and be able to balance the demands of "front of house" operations whilst ensuring deadlines are met. In the face of all this the ability to maintain a smile on your face, a cheery personality and a "can do" approach under pressure is vital. The successful applicant will work closely with the headteacher, leadership and pastoral support team. If you have experience of working in a busy office environment, relish a challenge and have super personal and professional qualities then we would be delighted to hear from you.
Previous experience of working with the public within an office environment coupled with proven financial & information management abilities are essential. If you enjoy a challenge, are hard-working and loyal, then this might be just the position for you. Visits to the school are strongly encouraged, please telephone the school office to make an appointment.

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro-rata basis. Closing date: 12 Noon 27/6/23 Shortlisting will take place 4th July 2023.

Essential Qualifications
- GCSE Maths & English A-C

Essential Experience
- Experience of working in an office environment.
- Proven ability to prioritise workload, meet rigorous deadlines & targets whilst maintaining accurate records
- Experience of Microsoft IT software packages including Excel

Desirable Experience
- Experience in working in a school environment
- Experience of Premises management
- Experience of ensuring the schools Health and Safety policies and procedures are effective and in place or commitment to complete training to do so.
