Carers Link Lancashire is looking to appoint an experienced ASD Assessment and Support Officer with the skills and knowledge to effectively engage with carers of ASD offering information, support, guidance, training and peer support both pre and post diagnosis.

ASD Assessment & Support Officer

30 hours per week

£24,496 per annum pro rata

Initially funded until 31st March 2026 as part of a pilot project

Various areas across East Lancashire

Main base: Head office in Accrington

The role involves providing support and services to carers of adults/children with ASD both pre and post diagnosis.

Support provided includes delivery of training programmes such as Cygnet and Riding the Rapids alongside a package of support which promotes the resilience of carers to ensure they are able to meet their caring responsibilities and lead fulfilling independent lives.

Main duties involve undertaking statutory Carers Assessments, reviews and reassessments in accordance with statutory guidelines
