Your role will be:

- To be a point of contact for our broker partners and deliver exceptional customer service as part of our existing business teams. You will underwrite and produce renewal terms or mid-term adjustments within the underwriting appetite of our Insurer partners
- Be a team player and contribute to the growth and retention strategy targets by negotiating terms and securing renewals, whilst working within your personal licence authority and binder agreements
- To take ownership of your work, prioritise, meet deadlines, ensure you follow the processes in place whilst constantly looking for opportunities to improve the customer journey
- Develop your own skills and knowledge as well as embracing the technical and soft skills coaching and training we will provide throughout your career with us

You will need:

- Good knowledge of underwriting principles and practice
- Good risk analysis and technical skills
- A team player but also self-motivated
- Demonstrate a trading mindset and commercial awareness
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation and verbal and written communication
- Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Good judgement, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to use your initiative and work well under pressure
