Manufacturing company based on Red Scar currently have a vacancy for a Supply Chain Administrator.
As Supply Chain Administrator you will provide an administrative support service to the Supply Chain department ensuring that Buyers and Planners can focus on the key responsibilities of their roles.
The main responsibilities:
Actioning the Procurement Inbox
Ensuring Order Confirmations are received from suppliers and entered into QAD
Resolving Invoice Queries
Updating Price Lists
Entering Shipment details for EU suppliers who are not DPD onto Kohn Goode Portal (Shipping Clerk activities)
Planning Bulk Links and Raw Materials
Raising Commercial Invoices
Commodity Code checks
To ensure that all Health and Safety standards are maintained and that you show due diligence at all times. You should report any bad practices to the Health & Safety Adviser
To comply with all company policies and procedures e.g. health & safety, training & development, quality, disciplinary & grievance and sickness & absence etc.
To carry out any other reasonable requests to meet the needs of the business
Key attributes to be considered for the role:

Excellent communication and interaction skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Competent in the use of computer systems
People person with a pleasant disposition and positive attitude
Proactive approach
Attention to detail with proven ability to meet deadlines

Going the extra mile
The hours of work are 8.30 - 5.00pmMonday to Friday however early finish Friday if you start 8.00am or stay till 5.30pm Monday to Thursday.
