**Job Summary**:
The role of the Retail Sales Assistant is to sell merchandise in the store and maintain the highest level of customer service. This position requires an outgoing personality, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well with others.

Do you love skiing / snow sports? We’re looking for an enthusiastic sales assistant to join our sales team in Barnes.

During the winter months we specialise in all things ski, whilst in the summer the store offers a range a fashion leisure and activewear.

We're currently recruiting for a retail assistant to join us either full or part time, Saturdays and/or Sundays included. We're open 6 days a week from 10am - 6pm.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Responsibility to open and close the store
- Gaining an understanding of our product range and using this to help advise customers
- Ensuring the store is kept clean, tidy and presentable
- Checking in new stock and replenishing stock on the shop floor
- Using the till and taking payments
- Assisting with stock merchandising and retail displays

**We're looking for the following**:

- A positive and proactive individual who is friendly and chatty
- Confidence to advise customers
- Responsible for taking payments and handling high priced products
- Responsible for being alone at times in the store, whilst also being able to work as part of a team and cope on the shop floor during busy periods

**Education and Experience**:

- Prior retail and/or sales experience preferred
- We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and offering expert advice for total beginners as well as seasoned skiers. A knowledge and enthusiasm of skiing is therefore preferred.

Salary dependent on skills and experience.
Start date - flexible.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 - 40 per week

**Salary**: £12.00-£14.00 per hour
