Age UK Lincoln and South Lincolnshire and Age UK Lindsey are embarking on a journey working in partnership to grow services that support more older people across the county and we need the right people to join us.
**We are recruiting Gardeners in the East Lindsey area but clients are available throughout the county so a flexible approach to working area would be beneficial.**

Flexible Hours to suit - Zero Hour Contract
**Pay rate - £9.60 per hour**
**Hours to be worked Monday - Friday between 8.30am - 4.00pm**
Full induction provided
As part of our gardening team, your duties and responsibilities will include the following:
**Garden Maintenance**
- grass cutting & strimming of grassed areas
- weeding & tidying borders
- planting & pruning
- hedge trimming
- leaf collection
- cleaning of wheelie bins
- sweeping of paths
- cleaning of paving and patio, power washing
- cleaning of service user’s tools & equipment after use
- placing garden waste in service user’s garden bin or compost area
- Have experience of gardening
- Understand the importance of and commitment to confidentiality.
- Have an understanding and appreciation of the needs of persons at risk
- Be committed to the role, offer flexibility and be approachable.
- Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
**Essential**:
- Recent prior experience of working in a similar setting
- Committed to the provision of outstanding support services for our clients.
- Will hold a full UK Driving Licence and have access to a car.
