Maintenance/handyman

**About us**

Bearhugs Nursery is set in beautiful walled gardens in Horncastle and provides a home from home environment for children to grow and learn. We were rated GOOD by Ofsted in December 2021. We are open 50 weeks of the year between 7:30am - 18:00pm. Bearhugs nursery was founded in 2011 and has gone from strength to strength, opening a second local nursery, as the company has grown Bearhugs has continued to maintain its home from home environment, nurturing children in a kind, caring place, our ethos has remained the same and will continue to do so. All our rooms have their own dedicated gardens and access to their own gardens at any time.

We are looking to employ a part time all-round handyperson to support both nursery settings in Horncastle and Tattershall with general maintenance and gardening.

**About you**

To carry out this role we would expect you to have the following characteristics:

- The Handyman job will involve general maintenance, repairs, painting and gardening/groundskeeping. Basic plumbing and electrical work may be required.
- Working in a School/Nursery or other similar roles in building, facilities and grounds maintenance (preferred).
- Working within a budget
- Transport required to cover work at both nurseries in Horncastle and Tattershall, as needed.
- To carry out any other reasonable tasks that may be required

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
