The Geosciences team delivers consultancy and design services to a wide range of external clients including engineers, house-builders, oil companies and local authorities. **Responsibilities**:

- Design, planning and managing geotechnical investigation projects including the production or technical review of high-quality GI specifications, factual and interpretive reports
- Working with technical and projects leads to deliver and report on appropriate solutions on geotechnical matters including slopes, earthworks, foundations, basements and retaining structures
- Preparing and technically reviewing technical notes, drawings and geotechnical reports and sharing knowledge through preparing and delivering seminars and training
- Occasional UK travel to other RSK Geoscience office will be necessary
- Stewardship of health, safety and environment in accordance with company standards and contribute to sustainability goals

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- BEng or BSc or equivalent in Civil, Geology or Geotechnical Engineering or similar is essential
- Chartered Engineer/Geologist with a relevant professional body (e.g. CGeol, CEng, RoGEP).
- Experienced geotechnical engineer with at least ten years of working in a geotechnical/ engineering consultancy environment
- Strong technical, commercial and project management capabilities
- Practical experience in design, supervision and management of geotechnical site investigations
- Full UK driving licence.

**Salary and Benefits**:

- £42,000 - £60,000
