- Job description- This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of people working around the Upper Don & Rother catchment. Together with your team you will manage flood risk assets to ensure we can respond to flooding, continue to protect our communities and enhance our environment. Assets are anything from embankments and flood walls, to pumping stations and other river structures.
You and your team will be at the forefront of delivering our asset management strategy, ensuring we, our assets and our partners are resilient and ready for Climate Change. We can’t do this alone, so innovation and continuous improvement will be a golden thread through all your work.

As responding to incidents is a central part of what we do, you will be required to have an incident role and make yourself available to respond to incidents or provide business continuity support during an incident. This may attract an additional payment and full training and alternative working arrangements will be available to support you with your incident role.
- The team- Asset Performance Teams are our Asset Owners. They manage our assets day-to-day so they work when we need them to.
They prepare Asset Management Plans, manage asset data, inspect assets, plan maintenance, work with Field Operations to prepare operational plans, contribute to delivery of capital projects and liaise with customers and partners.

Communication, teamwork and collaboration are key, and you will be able to manage multiple priorities and competing demands.
Previous experience in flood risk and/or asset management and/or engineering would be helpful, but a keen interest is more than acceptable too.

You will have experience of managing health, safety and wellbeing of yourself and others.
