Associate Director of Operations

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Sheffield Children's Foundation NHS Trust for a values-led, highly motivated leader and experienced Operational Manager to join our Senior Leadership Team. The role has become available following the recent retirement and part return of the current post holder and due to the significant change programme that is needed in this area. You will have accountability for:
- Operational delivery of all pathology services within the Trust
- Lead Sheffield Children's role as a partner in the Genomics Laboratory Hub and reconfiguration of services across the North East and Yorkshire
- Lead the Trust role as a partner in the South Yorkshire Pathology Network including reconfiguration of services and implementation of a completely new laboratory information management system
- Engage with and work collaboratively with colleagues and partners to develop and deliver improved services for children and young people in Sheffield and the region.
- To ensure all patient services are delivered safely, meeting high clinical standards and in line national and locally determined standards and in line with Trust policies and procedures.
- Ensuring key projects are planned and managed effectively to successful outcomes.
