**WHAT YOU'LL DO**:
This role is a member of the Global Travel Team. The Global Travel Function sets the vision and overall strategic direction of the Global Travel Program, delivers the latest thinking in the areas of indirect sourcing where BCG has a substantial spend including air, hotel, rail and car rental associated with internal and client travel, service operations & travel technology while leading the change required to minimise travel cost and its associated infrastructure. Our small but diverse team is highly strategic, collaborative and solution oriented.

They will also be responsible for liaising with the travel agency and technology vendor point of contact as well as servicing any internal travel technology enquiries/support for our BCG travellers.- Acting as a customer service point of contact and assisting with any individual or travel booker enquiries:
- Acting as navigational support for the online booking tool and the Global Travel Portal-
- Following up on cases and liaising between the vendor and the traveller or the travel team to resolve any technical issues in accordance with the applicable service level agreement-
- Acting as an expert for translating requirements into functional and design specifications- Facilitating the communication between business as well as solution developers-
- Involved in deployment of new tools and tool functionalities across all markets and providing consultative and insightful advice in the evaluation phase of new projects- Supporting the implementation of any travel technology related projects while ensuring timely deliveries- Providing analytical support across a wide range of travel technology reports- Supporting with preparation of periodic reports, dashboards and assisting with preparation of presentations for Senior Management- Preparing commentary to accompany reporting, distributing to key stakeholders and fielding inquiries related to activity- Monitoring KPIs defined by Global Travel for the area of travel technology- Supporting the Global Travel Team with any additional tasks/projects

**YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)**:
We are looking for an individual with approximately 1-3 years of relevant work experience who can bring knowledge to the BCG travel function. We expect that the individual will possess both the ‘technical’ qualifications for the role as well as other ‘intangible’ attributes.

The technical qualifications include:

- Technical background - IT/Engineering/Computer Science
- Service minded with high focus on support / helping users
- Sound analytical skills, attention to detail and a willingness to look at data in different ways
- Knowledge of Excel - ability to design, enhance, and maintain spreadsheet; knowledge of formulas and pivot tables (VBA would be a plus)
- Experience with SQL design and reporting functions would be a plus
- Sound interest in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Strong knowledge of MS Office
- Experience with Photoshop would be a plus
- Experience in the Travel Industry and/or with corporate online booking tools would be a plus
- Excellent communication skills and capability to present the findings into understandable documents
- Demonstrated interest in new technology
- Record of gearing up quickly with steep learning curve
- Experience from supporting small size technology projects
- Second language is an advantage

Our business management and operations team members work to ensure that BCG is running smoothly, efficiently, and productively.
