**As a Sales Assistant, we expect that you will**:

- Sell and market our diverse product inventory
- Expand our commercial reach by taking advantage of the untapped potential in new customers
- Build and expand relations with our existing customer base
- Devise strategies to open up opportunities in new markets
- Collaborate with leadership, team members, and suppliers
- Strive to provide excellent communication throughout the customer's entire purchasing journey
- Be aware of competitors' strategies, pricing structures, and products offered through analysing current markets and predicting future trends
- Stay organized and on top of your duties by keeping meticulous records, from sales call agendas to expense summaries
- Operate IT systems such as Intact IQ, Microsoft Office, Teams, and Outlook

**As an individual in this role, you should demonstrate the following attributes**:

- Superior negotiation and rapport building skills
- A helpful demeanour towards customers and be acutely aware of their individual requirements
- The ability to work efficiently and effectively, in what can be a fast-paced role
- Adept at navigating changing conditions, with a keen eye for detail
- At least 2+ years of previous sales experience
- Possess electrical product knowledge and have previous experience working within the industry

**Perks**

This is a full time and permanent position. We offer a full 33 days a year in holidays, 5 bank holidays, as well as additional benefits.
