With such a wide-ranging remit, Tax offers the opportunity to be involved in a variety of challenging and high-profile projects. On our One Year Business Placement Programme, you'll get the work experience, technical training, business insight and personal development opportunities that will equip you with the skills you need to succeed in your career. You may be allocated to one of the following teams:
**Global Mobility Services (GMS) Technology**

This team helps organisations manage their global workforce and use technology to provide tax and advisory services to companies and individuals.

Working directly with a broad range of clients, you will assist companies to define processes and implement mobile and web technologies which help them manage their global workforce to stay tax compliant. You will gain insights into how companies do business globally and learn about the latest technologies and how to put them to use. You will be involved in developing and implementing technology for clients from day one. Working as part of a team, you will gather client requirements and translate these into working solutions. Along the way you will collaborate with developers and client customers in Tax, HR and Global Mobility.

**Tax Capital Allowances**

This team works with a wide range of organisations and individuals, helping them to implement the tax approach that suits their needs. The Tax - Capital Allowances Advisory Services team includes a combination of surveyors, tax professionals and accountants who assist clients in accessing the tax relief available on their capital investments.

**Tax R&D Incentives**

The Innovation, Reliefs and Incentives (IRI) team is part of the wider Corporation Tax department and consists of engineers, scientists, accountants and tax professionals. They focus on assisting companies access tax relief through the R&D Incentive Scheme, which is a government regulated program supporting companies that work on innovative projects in science and technology. The IRI team work with companies from a wide range of industries including IT, construction, automotive, retail, financial services, energy and technology.

Capability: Tax & Law Programme Length: 1 year Qualifications: N/A What we look for:

- Grade 5 or B GCSE* Maths
- Grade 5 or B GCSE* English Language
- 120 UCAS points* from your 'top' 3 grades, excluding General Studies under the 2017 tariff point system at A Level (300 UCAS points pre-2017)
- On track to achieve a 2:1 undergraduate degree in any discipline.
