**Female Personal/Home Care Assistant**

Kendal, Cumbria

I am looking for a Personal Care Assistant to join our team. Ideally you will have experience of supporting someone with autism and challenging behaviour and promoting independence.

You will be supporting my daughter within her home and providing 24 hour care, seven days a week to include weekends.

You will receive:

- Standard rate starting from £15.50 per hour
- A pension if eligible
- 5.6 weeks per year pro rata annual leave
- In house and certificated training on all aspects of the role will be provided

Hours available:

- A minimum of 48 hours per week worked in 2 x 24 hour shifts, days and times of work to be discussed
- There is the opportunity to work additional hours on occasions in relation to holidays and sickness.

What’s Required:

- Provide assistance with all aspects of personal care, such as bathing, oral care, washing hair and dressing.
- A full driving licence is essential.
- Flexibility in working hours essential, covering a 24 hour, seven day period.
- Weekend work essential.
- Daily support with medication administration and record keeping.
- An enhanced DBS check, the cost will be met by the Employer.
- Supporting with daily activities outside of the home such as swimming.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £15.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 48 per week
