**SUMMARY OF POSITION**

Are you ready to lead the charge in crafting unforgettable events at Clays? As our Events Lead, you'll be the driving force behind every aspect of our event operations. From the moment bookings transition from sales to the final onsite delivery, you'll orchestrate seamless experiences that leave our guests in awe.

Working closely with our venue operations teams and both front and back-of-house colleagues, you'll ensure that every event at Clays is executed flawlessly. We are seeking a solution-oriented individual with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. If you have a background in event systems like Salesforce, Tevalis, Canva, and Sevenrooms, along with experience in agency or in-house venue settings, we want to hear from you

Beyond operational prowess, we're looking for someone with strong presentation skills and the confidence to lead and coordinate large groups. If you're passionate about creating memorable experiences, dedicated to operational excellence, we want you on our team

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

Your role will include but may not be limited to the following responsibilities;
- Act as the event planner and point of contact for all large bookings and events in venue
- Manage information flow through bespoke in-house systems, ensuring accurate communication and swift escalation when necessary.
- Oversee effective us of our processes and systems to ensure seamless communication and best in class event delivery
- Hosting weekly event meetings and ensure all information for the following 10 days has been collected and communicated with the venue teams
- Host and participate in site visits and tastings where required with the sales team and event clients
- Ensure that all customer queries or requests are handled in a polite and efficient manner within acceptable timeframes (within 24 hours)
- Prepare and communicate function sheets with relevant detail to the management and chef teams
- Brief the front of house and kitchen teams to ensure the smooth running of all events
- Be responsible for proposing, contracting, organising and delivering any specific equipment for events/clients outside our standard offering
- Organise and manage the Gamesmaster roster and DJs, as required
- Liaise with the management team to ensure adequate staffing is scheduled to deliver events
- Feedback to the Head of Events on events on learnings and analysis
- Create programming ideas for cultural events such as Moth
