Ben Brown Carpentry and Carpentry is a small business in Truro, Cornwall. we are a small family run company, specializing in extensions and renovations so no two days are the same.

Due to continued workload we are looking for a full time Carpenter to join the team, either employed or self employed.

**Requirements**:

- Hours Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30 pm additional hours available
- must be reliable
- must work well as part of a team and alone when required
- must be hard working and show initiative
- must be able to read plans and drawings

duties to include:

- all first fix, from stud work to cut roofs
- all second fix, from skirtings to kitchens
- plaster boarding
- any other skills would be a bonus

Must have own tools and Transport

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Freelance

Pay: £15.00-£22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Schedule:

- Flexitime
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Truro: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Joinery: 1 year (preferred)
- Carpentry: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- CSCS (preferred)
- Driving Licence (required)
