Job Title: HSF Project Manager

**Salary**: SCP 35 to 37 (£30,785 to £32,486 pro rata, per annum)
Responsible to: Senior Grants & Relationships Manager
Location: Fully remote
Hours of work: 35 per week
Duration: Up to 6 Month Fixed Term Contract
Purpose of the role:

- To work with the Senior Grants & Relationships Manager to manage the delivery of the Household Support Fund (HSF) grant-giving activity.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
2. To develop and maintain ongoing relationships with partner organisations and key stakeholders, ensuring appropriate agreements are in place and effectively managed.
3. To liaise with Birmingham City Council and the Senior Grants & Relationships Manager to review and plan work, outputs, priorities.
4. To convene and facilitate regular operational update meetings with commissioned partners.
5. To provide monitoring and performance reports as requested by Birmingham City Council.
6. To respond positively and constructively to internal performance management processes and to contribute to the ethos of continuous improvement.
7. To deputise for Senior Grants & Relationships Manager as and when appropriate, including undertaking any other delegated duties as reasonably requested.
Corporate:
8. To contribute to all in-house and external information and communication activities.
9. To ensure the implementation of policies and procedures including Health and Safety legislation and Equal Opportunities.
10. To contribute to business development activity by promoting services, identifying new opportunities, relationship building and supporting response to funding processes
11. To keep abreast of and observe internal policy developments and changes.
12. To keep abreast of strategic and policy issues affecting the voluntary sector and to contribute to policy analysis activities as appropriate.
13. To ensure your own continuing professional development by undergoing training, attending conferences and seminars and by any other appropriate means.
14. To produce reports, carry out presentations and undertake administrative duties in connection with the post.
15. To carry out evening and weekend work where required particularly the occasional shadowing of Outreach and other RSI colleagues.
16. To undertake any other delegated duties as reasonably requested.
17. To promote and the across the city and to have a high degree of corporate responsibility and loyalty to the charity.

**Experience**:
1. Proven track-record of contract management, project coordination and delivery in a dynamic and complex organisation.
2. Proven experience of staff management, utilising performance management processes and techniques.
3. Proven track-record in building and maintaining partnerships across the private, statutory and third sectors.
4. Demonstrable risk management experience.
5. Proven track-record in managing and motivating partners and key stakeholders to achieve organisational and partnership objectives.
6. Working within a culture of continuous improvement and experience of implementing and maintaining a range of quality assurance processes.

8. Excellent organisational skills
9. Strong attention to detail skills in the production and review of internal and external reports
