**Role Overview**:
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor and working as part of the Goods inward team, the job holder will be:

- Responsible for ensuring that the factory is free of packaging,
- Ensuring that all recycling is removed from the dedicated pick up points and then sorted into the various types,
- Working in the Goods Inward (receiving Area), moving pallets using forklift truck to various points throughout the site.
- Scanning all deliveries into Warehouse Computer System (WCS), where required splitting deliveries and moving to bulk store, components store or onto various lines.
- Ensuring that good housekeeping practices are followed, that all goods are stored and transported in accordance with relevant Health and Safety legislation.
- Ideally the holder of a forklift truck driving license
- Attention to detail as the work can entail the movement of heavy loads
- Awareness of appropriate Health and Safety legislation and how it should be applied in the workplace
- Good communication skills and the ability to understand complex instructions
- Knowledge of warehouse computer systems (ideally materials management or alternatively good computer skills). Systems training would be given.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated team player.

**Qualifications**
- Forklift Truck License FLT (training can be given)
- Good standard of basic education
