**Job Title**: CNC Turner Setter Operator Sliding Head or Swiss lathes

**Shift**: twilight shift with no Friday working unless working overtime

**Salary**: as a guide, £14.00 - £15.00 per hour (approx £28,500 - £30,500) + lots of overtime available. Please get in touch about your requirements as there may be some flexibility in the pay rate based on your skills and experience.

**Location**: Outskirts of Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire

We are a well-respected, long established and growing engineering company in Tewkesbury and we're looking to add an experienced CNC Turner Setter Operator to their team. This job is being created to cope with a large increase in demand for the high quality, high value product range and to meet plans for the future growth of the company. This job is easily commutable from Cheltenham, Gloucester, Tewkesbury, Malvern, Evesham, Worcester and surrounding areas.

**Roles & Responsibilities for CNC Setter Operator**:
Set and operate CNC sliding head lathes (also known as Swiss-type lathes)
Machine precision metal parts for a variety of sectors
Machine small and large batches
Work from engineering drawings
Carry out in-process checks
Make small edits to programmes and adjust for offsets where necessary

**Skills & Experience for CNC Setter Operator**:
Experience of producing good quality parts to tight tolerances
Good experience of setting and operating CNC lathes
You don't need experience of setting and operating sliding head lathes
Ability to work alone and as part of a team
Ability to check your own work
Flexible can-do approach to work
Willingness to develop and grow with the company
