What Are We Looking For

Our in-house design team is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our business in our office in Inverness to assist in the delivery of water treatment solutions across Scotland. You will be involved in all aspects of projects from scoping anddetailed design right through to implementation, ensuring compliance with Client Specifications and current regulatory standards, with a strong focus low on carbon solutions.

Some of your key duties include:

- Oversee design aspects of projects from inception to implantation
- Ensure compliance with Client specification and current regulatory standards
- Prepare work scope estimates/quotations
- Assemble contract works information documents
- Consider project health and safety, quality and environmental matters
- Liaise with all key stakeholders for the projects
- Implement project change control and programme requirements
- Take responsibility as Design Lead on allocated projects

What do you need?
- Degree/HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Knowledge of British and European design standards
- Demonstrable track record as a Mechanical Engineer in both a design office and in a construction environment within the Water (or related Process) Industry
