**We have two opportunities in the Inclusion Service for enthusiastic and committed people who would like to make a difference to the lives of children and young people in Leicestershire. Both of these roles involve supporting pupils who are experiencing difficulties in accessing education and need support to overcome their barriers. The roles are detailed below, applicants are invited to consider either role when completing the online form.**

**Graduated Response Inclusion Practitioner - Full time permanent**
To provide a package of support to increase children and young people’s access to education specifically relating to medical needs; home education, education employment and training, children missing education and exclusions. To model good practice, best endeavours and reasonable adjustments for professionals and families to ensure quality education is accessible and maintained within educational settings and home education. To keeping records as required by the Manager. To support children and young people to re-engage in educational opportunities, To assist in the day to day management of a caseload of children and young people with the supervision and support of the Education Officer and Team Manager. To work directly with children and professionals in various settings to enable children to participate as fully as possible in the delivery of plans or programmes to promote the education and inclusion of children and young people.

**Education Youth Worker-37hrs Fixed Term**
The Inclusion Service works with children, young people and their families to support them to achieve the best outcomes possible. This role within the Service is aimed at supporting young people where there are vulnerabilities due to emotional wellbeing that prevents the young person from engaging in education. The principal aim is to support the young person to build resilience against the barriers to education through planned interventions and innovative delivery styles.
