We are looking for a Purchasing Assistant to join our Purchasing Team that is based at our head office in Lancaster.

- good verbal and numerical reasoning
- organised and a keen eye for detail
- time management
- ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- proficient with computer and web based systems, including Microsoft Office
- prepared and willing to support the Purchasing team with any and all other necessary tasks, e.g. stock taking

**Responsibilities**:

- purchasing of stock
- place orders to deadlines to maintain stock levels
- book incoming stock onto our stock management system
- communicate with suppliers regarding orders, stock availability, lead times, etc.
- liaise with our internal sales team regarding order/stock queries

Experience within the automotive industry may be an advantage but not essential. Full systems training will be provided.

This is a full time role, 40 hours Monday-Friday. Saturday work may be required. This would be paid at an overtime rate.

22 days holiday + Bank and Public Holidays.
