**The Role & Responsibilities**
- To provide support to the underwriting teams on valuation queries
- To manage the relationships with the panel managers
- To provide commentary on the back-book valuations and make recommendations for the valuation to use
- To support the in-life management team on decisions how best to dispose of the asset
- Management of panel values and relationship of panel manager. Ensure the panel managers are performing in line with expectations from service level, Audit performance
- Be part of the decision-making process for work out case management when understand the best way for disposing of assets
- Be involved with deal forums on quality of security
- Review the Automated valuation decisions and provide comment on the suitability
- Be part of the automated valuation strategy as to where we can look at opportunities
- Integral part of the decision-making process for the back book valuations providing guidance as to the suitability of the model

**The Person**
- GCSE (or equivalent) in Math’s and English
- RICS
- An excellent understanding of the commercial mortgage, residential and commercial real estate sector
- Comprehensive property knowledge
- Computer literate (good knowledge of MS Office suite - Excel, Word, Power-Point)
- Knowledge of TCF
- Good knowledge of compliance procedures within the mortgage industry.
- Advanced at the reading of financial accounts, valuations, business appraisals
and credit searches.
- Analytical and pragmatic approach to underwriting
- Adaptable & flexible
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work on own and as part of a team.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Enthusiastic “can do” attitude
- Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Accuracy & attention to detail

- Permanent/37.5-hour week
- Able to commute reliably to office base. Able to work extended hours on occasions when required
- Must have a clean or near clean driving license
