Leeds University Business School (LUBS) is looking to recruit a skilled individual to maintain a range of data and planning tools in support of the operation of the School. LUBS is a large school with six departments, over 250 academic staff, more than 35 degree programmes for undergraduate and Masters students. Effective use of data is essential in supporting the delivery of the School strategy and the School wishes to have tools and processes that support managers in planning, and that provide management information to support effective use of all available resources.

As a Data Officer you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of various databases and systems. Using your excellent IT and analytical skills, you will support a range of decisions from strategic to operational through collecting, processing, sorting, analysing and drawing inference from data, as well as supporting the management and maintenance of a range of databases. You will be an experienced user of Excel and database systems. You will possess good inter-personal skills and be an effective communicator.
