**The role in a nutshell**

As the HR and Payroll Operations Apprentice your role will be to support the People and Payroll team, working alongside our Head of People and Head of Payroll. Day to day, you will provide an efficient and streamlined service to the business with regards to all things People and Payroll operational administration tasks, as well as managing the current and longer-term accuracy of employment records.

In this role you will have the opportunity to gain experience across the full life-cycle administration of employees, ad-hoc HR and payroll projects and ensuring all employees are communicated with updates to their employment details in a smooth and timely manner.

**Getting into the detail**
- You will provide administrative support between the People & Payroll teams in the form of a shared service.
- Ensuring end-to-end administration associated with the lifecycle of an employee is managed and that documentation is stored securely.
- Making sure that existing information held in the HR Module on is up to date and accurate for all employees, including supporting with logging of salary changes, promotions, leavers, terminations etc.
- Assisting in monitoring and reporting of seasonal workers, including actioning status changes as well as holiday accrual.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
- Maintaining confidentiality at all times and ensure that letters or forms do not breach data protection legislation.

**What you’ll bring**
- Experience in a hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
- Experience of admin and process improvement.
- Working knowledge in systems, ideally Microsoft Teams, Office, specifically ability to produce and manipulate excel reports.
- Flexibility to be able to work outside of office hours on occasion and when needed.
- Good understand of GDPR regulations and ability to translate into daily working practices.
- A flexible and professional approach to work, with the ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive personal data.
- Demonstrable professional approach with the ability to work quickly, flexibly, and accurately in a dynamic, and changing environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with ability to interact with a range of stakeholders at all levels.

**Salary**: £17,500.00-£20,000.00 per year
