**Role Overview**
Thanks to our accelerated and continuing growth at DC Rail, we are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our Service Delivery Control Centre team in Derby. As a Service Delivery Controller at DC Rail, you will play a vital role in the efficient operation of our train services. This dynamic position offers a wide range of challenges and opportunities in the rail industry. No two days are the same, providing you with exposure to the diverse aspects of rail operations. Rest assured, we are committed to providing comprehensive training and support to ensure your success in this pivotal role.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage the overall operation of train services, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
- Act as the primary point of contact between internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Utilise various communication channels to facilitate seamless coordination and response.
- Monitor and respond to real-time events, ensuring mínimal disruptions to train services.
- Collaborate with our dedicated team to optimise train schedules and resource allocation.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, compliance, and adherence to industry regulations.
- Handle unforeseen challenges and emergencies with poise and effectiveness.
- Contribute to process improvements and innovation within the Service Delivery Control Centre.
**Skills and Attributes***
- Previous experience in the rail industry is a plus but not required.
