**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the evaluation of national licensing requirements in light of Viasat’s planned worldwide network operations and other business activities.
- Help to track Viasat’s license portfolio and associated requirements to ensure that the company meets applicable compliance obligations in a timely manner.
- Work closely with other teams within the company (business, technical, legal, accounting, etc.) to obtain necessary factual inputs and facilitate appropriate internal review of planned regulatory submissions.

**Requirements**:

- 4+ years of experience in the field of government and regulatory affairs and with telecommunications-related licensing matters.
- Willingness to provide regular and timely reports and updates.
- Willingness and ability to operate in a team environment.
- Ability to communicate fully, clearly, and effectively, both orally and in writing, with leadership and teammates.
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy, together with the ability to manage simultaneous projects.
- Ability to take initiative and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.

**Preferences**
- Juris Doctorate degree or equivalent.
- Bachelors or Masters degree
- International Experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with the oil and gas industry.
- Additional project management and administrative experience is a plus.
